Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NetSuite Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in ERP product ownership, with a strong preference for NetSuite. As the NetSuite Product Owner, you will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with business stakeholders, IT, and development teams to drive process improvements and ensure successful ERP solutions.
Your role will include drafting business requirements, facilitating end-to-end testing, and managing a prioritized backlog in alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate across teams to ensure that projects support our global operations and transformation goals. With a consultative approach, you'll recommend system-based solutions, ensure smooth integrations, and create a shared vision for ERP enhancements.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of ERP processes, including accounting principles, order creation, and billing, along with the ability to balance technical and business needs in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the Enterprise SaaS industry at a global scale is a plus, and experience in agile development methodologies is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Understand business requirements and provide consultative guidance for process and system changes to deploy end to end solutions
• Draft Jira Stories with Business Requirements for development work
• Act as a subject matter expert for Cision’s global ERP application; considering upstream and downstream processes and integrations
• Use your high-level perspective to define goals and create a vision for development projects
• Create/maintain the list of backlog items to prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives
• Analyze current business processes or procedures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system-based solutions and improvements
• Be the primary liaison between Finance, Support teams and IT/development team, with a global mindset
• Ensure business and IT transformation projects are aligned with business goals
• Facilitate end to end testing and validation of new and existing functionality; ensuring the solutions deliver expected ERP outcomes and goals
• Establish a shared vision across the Business Application teams by building consensus on priorities leading to enhancements in Order to Cash
• Leading the ideation, business justification and prioritization of new projects across ERP
Requirements
• 1-3 years in ERP Product Ownership; NetSuite Preferred
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or IT
• Have a solid understanding of ERP practices such as general accounting principles, order creation and billing
• Experience driving process transformation/simplification across NetSuite
• Experience working with integrations teams, and prioritizing across cross-functional needs
• Experience in Enterprise SaaS industry at a global scale is a strong plus
• Ability to balance technical skills with business acumen, ability to lead through transformation and change management needs
• Ability to perform in a dynamic, fast-pace work environment
• Experience working in an agile development methodology
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Experience with process flow diagraming and tools such as Visio and Lucid Chart
• Ability to meet with and present to various levels of the organization
