Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on dynamic Manager of Salesforce Development to maintain and drive enhancements to our Salesforce platform. As a manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and consultants to deliver high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints. You will lead and mentor the Salesforce development team providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and lead Salesforce development initiatives and release activities.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and stability of implemented features, seeking opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Partner up with the leaders across sales, marketing, finance and IT organizations to create a plan for future systems improvements and evolution.
• Evaluate technology choices considering performance, scalability, and maintainability, providing clear rationale for decisions. Stay updated on emerging technologies and platform updates, suggesting effective strategies to improve performance and functionality.
• Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers and Administrators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Apply practical knowledge of Salesforce development practices.
• Ensure thorough documentation of technical specifications, code, and processes for knowledge transfer and maintainability.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for future adoption.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information technology, and 5+ years relevant IT field and Systems Development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of hand-on Salesforce development experience. Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Understanding of E2E lifecycle of Salesforce development collaborating with multiple engineers
• Understanding of the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and common AppExchange solutions
• Extensive technical experience with Salesforce in the following capacities:
o Gap analysis, solution design, configuration, and development
• Proven experience (4+ years) in project management, specifically managing Salesforce projects. Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience managing global teams and resources.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Active Salesforce Certifications are highly desirable
