As a Senior Product Manager for the Mission Control team, you will lead an independent team of experienced software engineers to define and deliver a strategic roadmap that maximizes value for key internal users of our Mission Control product. You will combine deep user insight, analytical rigor and motivational leadership to drive impactful outcomes that align with organizational goals.
In this role, you will be a part of the Governance group within our Brandwatch Business Unit, focused on evolving our internal, super admin application. It empowers our customer-facing teams to independently resolve both every day and complex customer needs, reducing reliance on Technical Support or Engineering.
You’ll report to a Director of Product who’ll guide and mentor you. They will support you in shaping a vision into strategy, give you a mission, and help you set your own objectives – but they’ll never tell you what to build. And you’ll have the support of a close-knit community of passionate Product people.
We value creativity, boldness and authenticity. We want to create a place where you can bring your whole self, where you can feel you belong, and where you’re empowered to do your best work in an environment that works for you. We want you to have a voice and be heard. We’ll listen and support you however we can.
What you will do:
- Drive a data-informed approach to defining and owning objectives and key results with a focus on measurable user outcomes and repeatable success.
- Serve as the strategic voice of the Mission Control team, proactively aligning the product’s vision and roadmap with organizational objectives while championing the team’s contributions across the company.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Mission Control user personas and internal stakeholder needs to identify high-impact opportunities and resolve user pain points effectively.
- Lead long-term planning and roadmapping efforts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering solutions that meet current and future user needs.
How you will do this:
- Collaborate with a distributed team of engineers and designers to define a clear and actionable roadmap, leveraging data and insights to prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable value.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with product marketers and other key stakeholders, ensuring a unified understanding of the product’s purpose and impact.
- Work with the team daily and run various agile ceremonies, making sure their backlog is prioritized, and tickets are clear.
What you have:
- 3-5 years of Product Management or agile delivery experience in B2B, enterprise or Saas software.
- Because of the technical complexity, having an engineering background, or a natural interest in understanding technical details, is a big plus.
- Solid understanding of agile concepts and principles. You will help mature a team in their agile processes.
- Exceptional communication and motivational leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Empathy and rapport are central to the role here – an ability to form strong relationships with people across the organization, with a variety of goals and perspectives
- Data-driven decision-making – focus on uncovering customer needs, figuring out the common underlying problem, and championing why it’s valuable to solve.
- Collaborative problem-solving skills, to help you get the most out of your experts
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers, understand their perspectives, and manage their expectations sensitively.
- Experience of working on or having been a power user of super admin tools, working on permissions, pricing etc. in a SaaS context are a big plus!
